Just some things to take note of:
1. Please be punctual in your attendance. Do look for Grace Tan when you arrive. It is a bit rigid, but no choice because we are trying to make sure everything’s not too chaotic.
2. For handling of food items, all are to put on plastic gloves and use tongs. This is for hygiene purposes.
3. After receiving the money from the sales, look for any seniors to pass the money and also for the change needed. It may be hard to keep track if sales are high, so do try to remember this point.
4. Those who have sales items, I will need you to meet me at 7.20a.m. at the school canteen (area near photocopying shop) to pass me your items for sale.
5. Get your friends and teachers down to support this event! See you there!

Hello!
Here are some dates for Service Learning visits to Ju Eng Home! Do try to keep these dates free. Keep this page in the loop because they may be changes to the dates, but for now:
Date Day School Event Comments/Concerns
12th June Friday School Holiday 8th-21st Jun-Cadets block off period
3rd July Friday Youth Day Celebration
31st Jul Friday NIL 1st Aug-Routine Training
14th Aug Friday NIL 15th Aug-Zone Games Day
6th Nov Friday NIL 7th Nov-JNCO Training
20th Nov Friday NIL NIL
4th Dec Friday School Holiday 23rd Nov-12th Dec-Cadets block off
Previously, it was mentioned that the first time we are going down would most likely be 12th June, but currently, the standard 4s and 3s would need to complete their CIP before June holidays, so we managed to secure 8th May, Friday, for them to go down. There will be updates on this again. Let’s work hard together to make this a success!

There will be a fundraising event, tentative date to be held on:
6th May 2009, Wednesday
You can form groups with your squadmates/housemates/any member of DHSJAB to occupy a booth. Instead of the initial date of 20th April to tell me the type of booth you want to set up, I would need the information by this coming Saturday, 11th April 2009, by 2359hrs. Just drop me a message at 96481768 or an email at grace_toon@yahoo.com.sg with the following information:
- Names of the people in the group (with indication of one member as the I/C)
- Contact details of the I/C (Home number, hand phone number and email address)
- Nature of booth
For the nature of booth, please try to be more specific e.g. Selling homemade accessories-earrings, bangles and bookmarks instead of merely stating selling of homemade accessories.
If your hands have been itching to bake, then go ahead and gather some friends to have a cookie/brownie booth! If you have got nice jewellery that you have never worn before, and they’re lying at home, collecting dust, why not bring them down to the stall to sell? Or if you have got some books that are still in a pretty good condition, you never know whether your friend would buy them to read! Let your creative juices flow and start thinking of what booths you may want to set up. I hope to receive a lot of responses from you! This is for a good cause, so don’t hesitate and start now!
